Disease from dirty water is rampant in Mali. Children may grow up having chronic diarrhea their entire lives. These wells aim to drill deep enough to bypass the ground contamination and reach clean, uncontaminated water which is then pumped to the surface to be used by the villagers. Your donation will be used to install a clean water well in one of these villages.
