Mali has the world’s sixth highest rate of death in children under five, the majority of them being within the first 2-3 months after birth. For the last 3 years we have been working diligently to get pre-natal vitamins to expectant mothers early in their pregnancy. Villages are reporting wonderful results back to us, letting us know that pregnancies are resulting in more full-term deliveries and babies are being born healthier. Newborn and new mother kits are assisting in healthier conditions for both mother and child in the critical fire few months after birth.
