Many Mali villages focus on one crop, such as corn or millet, for their entire sustenance as a village. They use it for food and for trade. This creates an environment without nutrient rich foods such as fruit and green vegetables, particularly greens. Our foundation utilizes the building of the deep water well and an agriculturalist that teaches the village people how to successfully plant a vegetable garden. We supply them with seeds, install an irrigation system, help them plant their first crop, and share crop rotation techniques. Your donation will be used to build a garden in a Mali village.
